banana fibre project
Banana............ aptly called as kalpatharu,the fibre content of Banana is used to make paper pulp which is used in hand made paper industry ,and it is a wood free pulp,Apart from this the fibre is used to make handicrafts.Now the Resarch Is going in textile industry...
we are training farmers and women self help groups to extract fibre from banana using a simple machinery.the craft training and paper conversion products are made out of banana fihbre,espcially the products are made by farmers[extraction of fibre]womengroups and small entreprenurs.Near about 12,500 benificiares are involved in this project all over india.
